More than you ever wanted to know about the area

A lot of topographical maps are available free on the web, including the USGS 7.5 minute series.
Maps and aerial photoscan be downloaded free from the Terraserver. This is one of my favourite places.
Most of these map files are huge, 2-40 MB so you better have a good internet connection.
